Heritage Stoneworks did an outstanding job enlarging the original fireplace opening and transforming it into a real feature of our living room. Their technical expertise was clear from the start; they maximised the size of the opening while working carefully within the structural limits of the chimney, and explained every stage clearly.
Before the fireplace was carved, we were shown the raw stone and given the opportunity to choose the exact sections for each part of the surround and hearth, which made the final result feel genuinely bespoke. The craftsmanship is excellent, the fitting was precise, and the team kept everything clean and tidy throughout the installation.
The showroom had a great range of designs to choose from, and the whole process from initial visit to final fitting, felt professional, well organised, and customer-focused. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished fireplace and would highly recommend Heritage Stoneworks to anyone looking for quality and attention to detail.

We required a traditional Derbyshire Stone fireplace to install in our old barn. Heritage Stoneworks designed, carved and fitted a beautiful product which has been much admired by both architect and builder. Heritage also fitted a stainless steel flue inside an existing chimney which was not easy.

We wish to express our thanks to you and your team for the remarkable work that you have recently undertaken, this being the second task that you have done, the first being a Stone fireplace that was completed back in 2006.
We cannot believe that there are companies out there that have such a passion for work being done, however Heritage Stone should be at the top of everyone’s list.
If I may, I will add a little something that I learned when I first went into the industry of selling, it is a John Ruskin quote:-
