Our Peak District Workshop & Showroom in Tideswell was established in 1998 and is where Simon makes surrounds from local stones quarried or mined in the British Isles.  The most popular stone that he works with is Derbyshire Sandstone, Lancashire Gritstone, Ancaster Limestone, Portland Limestone & Bathstone.

Simon offers a personal design service, creating and installing bespoke hand-carved fire surrounds.          Every surround is tailor-made to exact specifications, and all stages of the creation & installation are thoroughly discussed with the client so they receive a truly unique and bespoke piece.

We offer a UK-wide service, working with clients in every corner of the Country. 

The changing architecture of period properties and new developments around the UK always makes the design process interesting, and Simon can offer advice on the type of stone and design that will suit your home in its surroundings.

​Simon is experienced in preparing old chimney breasts, altering and designing new apertures to accommodate a fire surround of your choice.

Being HETAS Registered he can also install and commission Woodburning Stoves.

As part of the installation service he can fit Flues & Liners & can complete any

chimney alterations & repairs involved.

We are suppliers of Woodwarm Stoves made in Devon.
